Reporting to our Operations Manager of Inbound Operations, the Area Manager of Product Central is responsible for direct leadership of departmental responsibility.
You will define goals and to ensure most effective operational business, and monitor and assess performance on a regular basis.
You will provide leadership and support to staff in creating and promoting a positive work environment in support of Qurate values.
You will execute sickness return feedback, personal appraisal interviews and control vacation planning in regards to events or peak season.
Initiate or control daily/weekly shift schedules.

Your Impact:
Ensure consistency and compliance with departmental and company policies.
Builds an engaged Culture by modeling QXH Values and operating principles, ensuring all employees are treated consistently, fairly, ethically and respectfully.
Leads the team in creating an atmosphere that enables the dialog and commitments that promote a continuous improvement mindset and has a favorable impact on the effectiveness and efficiency of the site through accuracy measurements.
Identifies, reports, and communicates to the Shift/Area Manager trends and/or irregularities experienced.
Takes a pro-active approach to analyzing deficiencies and developing plans to correct.
Recommends and implements solutions by involving staff in problem solving to obtain the best result.
Partners with the corresponding manager to define and implement quality guidelines for specified job functions.
Support audit techniques and error capturing to ensure products and procedures meet or exceed the established inventory and quality standards.
What You Bring:
Undergraduate degree in business or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a high paced multi-platform environment.
Previous Inventory Management experience.
Must possess a solid working knowledge of PCs and MS Word, Excel, Access, IBM and WMS, etc.
Experience and proficient in giving providing coaching and feedback to supervisory team, developing performance and development plans.
Remote work is not permitted in NYC at this time.
